Attracted to decaying plants & animals. Their presence may indicate the presence of a dead animal or leak.

A nuisance pest that are potential disease carriers. House flies have short lifespans, but they can quickly reproduce in large numbers.
Attracted to pet feces, exposed garbage, and dead animals. Can transmit organisms they pick up at unsanitary feeding sites.
Prefer warm areas, in cold months they crawl into small openings in walls. Their droppings can make walls and windows darker.
Deposit their eggs on the surface of food. Transfer infections to by contaminating food and food preparation areas.
